I'm a whole holiday behind. I"m writing about Halloween on Thanksgiving. *shakes head in shame*
Halloween 2014 was awesome! Last year, Paul was in Canada on a business trip so I went it solo with my girlies and I HATED it. DESPISED. LOATHED. But this year, all was right with the world and despite some chilly temperatures, we enjoyed the evening out with Lexi, the Fairy Princess, and Emma, the Sparkle Witch.
Emma's preschool class went on a trick-or-treat parade through the school. I was able to tag along when they stopped by the gym and Lulu's class happened to be in P.E. just then. I LOVE being able to capture these sweet moments!

Do these costumes look a little familiar? I wasn't able to make NEW tutu costumes this year (time=zero) so the choices were store bought or tutus we already owned. Since it just wouldn't be a Holding Girl Halloween without a gigantic tutu, both opted to create costumes out of existing tutus.
Did you know I'm a FOOL for Halloween? I love dressing up and even though I'm 30 and extremely mature and respectable (right?), I just can't resist pulling all the teachers at school down the rabbit hole with me. This lovely lady, my Miss Clavel, is my partner in ridiculous crime. We chose 'Children's Literature' as the teacher theme this year, and we were Madeline and Miss Clavel. I love that our faculty played along - it was one of our best years yet!
