So . . . hey . . . yeah, it's been a month since I updated. Whoops. I've thought about writing blog posts, but that thought is usually followed by another thought that goes like this:
This is the busy season for us - work hasn't slowed down any for either Paul or myself. Lexi has had both basketball and dance, and Emma continues to amaze us with her daily death-defying feats.
Everyone has had a turn with at least one cough and cold combo, also. Fall hasn't been kind to this blog.
So I have taken a break from my normal routine of blog-post-pin. It's kind of an internet hibernation.
Much like a bear, I enjoy hibernation. I also enjoy eating my body weight in Nutella and Kit Kats, so that explains why there has been so much of this happening:
The 10 mile Turkey Trot. It was 22 degrees and I couldn't feel my fingers or toes for the first few miles. Paul was kind and ran (slowly) next to me since my IT band injury was preventing me from running any faster than a 9 minute mile. It was 3/5 chivalry and 2/5 not wanting to be cold while waiting for me to cross the finish line. I like that we have this photo, though.
I also finally figured out how to unlink/delink/disconnect (?) my running app from Facebook - you're welcome. I won't be that person anymore. Hallelujah!
I doubt my hibernating season will end soon - so here are some ridiculous photos of my girlies to tide you over for the winter:
Winter weather means the return of Emma the Snow Beast!
She was SO excited to have chili and cinnamon rolls for dinner!
My Minnie Mouse!
car naps are still happening atleast once a week, usually twice.
Emma's goal in life is to be naked. Here's hoping she grows out of that SOON!
